The unique characteristic of Pixelrunner is a result of the application of a digital print procedure -pixel by pixel- directly onto the ground (lawn, asphalt, and snow) as well as due to the exceptional patented spray technology. On top of that, a complete system enables automation from processing pictures to the application of the brand logo throughout the entire process. Due to the automated process, no preparation time is required.
What had been a tremendous man-powered effort until now the Pixelrunner completes within minutes. All preparation tasks such as stencil production or measuring are no longer required. No waste arises due to the automated print process, furthermore, the tank is exclusively filled with water-based and bio-degradable colors. The Pixelrunner itself is silent, emission-free, and fully electrically operated.

The Pixelrunner Mk2 is exclusively operated electrically and does not omit emissions. Due to the option of directly printing images without stencils resp. banner prints onto the ground, no waste arises. Moreover, production, transport, and disposal of stencils resp. banners show higher environmental impact than landscape prints with the Pixelrunner.
The Pixelrunner Mk2 prints with a resolution of 3 x 3cm pixel. These are visible as pixels on short distance (<15m) on smooth and homogenic surfaces such as asphalt or concrete, especially on edges and curves). Please consider this when planning your design (no too complex design or small lettering). The latest generation of Pixelrunner prints at a speed of 30 sqm. /minute resp. 300 sqm. nonstop.
The Pixelrunner is not just unique. The specifically developed software allows images to be illustrated before order within our technical resolution while simultaneously generating the file to print for our machine. This makes it possible to provide an answer to whether the design can be realized within the desired specifics e.g., size and quality.
The device surveys the area on-site with its sensor technology and is then autonomously able to execute the print orders by SAE 2. Consequently, a print order can be executed by only one operator.
The Pixelrunner Mk2 can apply up to three colors in one run thanks to its patented spray bar.
Colors
The Pixelrunner’s tank is exclusively filled with bio-degradable colors. The colors are water-based and are highly radiant. Furthermore, they are easily removed with a pressure washer.
Colors such as blue, green, red, yellow, white, and black are available on short notice (within … business days).
Should you prefer certain RAL or Pantone color tones for your print we kindly advise that we need a minimum lead time of 4 weeks.

Permanent durability
Permanent durable colors “Pixelrunner Colorsafe Durable“ were developed for durable application and are basically weatherproof after completely drying.
The durability on asphalt or concrete amounts to multiple months. Please keep in mind that mechanical strain such as motor vehicle, truck or forklift traffic can wear the print down. Furthermore, skidmarks can impair visibility especially with light colors.
Removal of the design is possible with a special remover and pressure washer (200 bar).
Short term durability
After completly drying the event color is generally durable but can be affected by weather. Rain can fade the color – the design can “move” or can cause slight smudges.
The cleaning is done by pressure washer and water.
Incline
Should the designated surface be on a declination we kindly ask you to provide pictures for us to estimate the feasibility.
Requirement surface
The designated surface should generally be dry, clean, dust, oil, and smudge-free. Furthermore, free of loose components, skidmarks and other contaminations. Older markings must be tested for sustainability and compatibility with the to be applied tracer.
Keep in mind that we are weather reliant when applying the design, hence cannot print during snowfall or rain. Differentiating temperature and/or high humidity from offer acceptance can be an impediment for executing and/ or estimated drying time.
Durability
Permanent durable colors “Pixelrunner Colorsafe Durable“were developed for durable application and are basically weatherproof after completely drying. The durability on lawn amounts to multiple weeks.
Please be advised that depending on the vegetation period the visibility and color radiancy can be affected. Furthermore, heavy rainfalls, mechanical stress or hail can result in losses. We recommend setting the print date close to the event date. Walking or driving on the printing area while the print is being applied and in the drying period is to be avoided.

Requirement surface
The lawn has to be mowed timely before print application, free of grass clippings, leaves and other contaminations to ensure a smooth execution and best quality.
The lawn must be dry during the print. The drying duration depends on ground and ambient temperature. The better the lawn is constituted the better the results will be.

Incline
Should an incline be printed on, we kindly ask you to send us the Google Maps link or arrange an on-site visitation so we can provide an adequate estimate of feasibility.
Durability
The durability is highly weather reliant as well as the snow density. On average the colors sink in between 30-50 mm and is durable for 3 -5 days as UV radiation and sunlight fade and heat the surface. To remove the brand logo or design the snow has to be removed. After 3-5 days the color has fully corroded.
